The Derby
The World Championship Snowmobile Derby began on Dollar Lake in 1964. Today racers run a half-mile banked oval of ice at close to 100 miles per hour.

A chain of 28 lakes
Ten lakes make up the Eagle River chain. A boat lift at the Burnt Rollways dam carries boats to 18 quieter lakes in the Three Lakes chain.
